Reporting an error
Email the editor at brianjnuckols@gmail.com with the page address, the sentence or figure in question, and, if you have one, the record that shows it is wrong. Every report receives an answer within two business days, including the ones that turn out not to be errors.
What happens next
A confirmed error is fixed on the page where it appears. The fix is logged in that page’s changelog with the date and a plain statement of what was wrong and what replaced it. If the error was in a source file, the corrected file gets a new hash, and the old hash stays in the changelog so a reader holding the earlier download can tell which version they have. Nothing is corrected silently.
